Why Your Jaw Is Probably the Reason You Snore
Snoring isn't a mystery. It's mechanics.
When the jaw slides back during sleep, the airway narrows and soft tissue starts to flutter. That flutter is the sound. Here is what actually moves the needle — and why the number marked on the side of the device matters more than the device itself.

Most anti-snoring products guess. This one measures.
Nose strips widen the nostrils, which does nothing if the blockage is further back. Chin straps hold the mouth shut without moving the jaw. Wedge pillows change the angle of the whole head and hope for the best. And the cheap mouthpieces are moulded in one fixed position — if that position happens to be wrong for your jaw, there is nothing you can do about it.
RetroRamp works on the one variable that actually matters, and it puts that variable in your hands. The jaw advancement is marked on the device in millimetres. You start at zero, move up a notch at a time, and stop at the smallest setting that works for you — rather than forcing your jaw forward all night because a factory decided that was the number.
How it works
The airway narrows
During deep sleep the muscles relax and the lower jaw drifts backwards, crowding the space behind the tongue.
Tissue starts to vibrate
Air forced through that narrower gap makes the soft tissue flutter. That flutter is the sound.
The jaw is held forward
RetroRamp keeps the lower jaw in a set forward position, so the airway stays as open as it is when you're awake.
0 to 10mm, marked on the device
This is the part almost nobody else offers. Jaw anatomy varies, so the right amount of advancement varies too. Start at zero, increase by one notch every few nights, and settle at the lowest setting that does the job. Less advancement means less morning stiffness, so finding your number matters.
Fitted to your bite in about 60 seconds
Boil
Drop it into hot water for a few seconds until the material softens.
Bite
Bite down firmly. It takes the shape of your own teeth, not a generic mould.
Cool
Cold water sets it. If you're not happy with the fit, reheat and do it again.

What the first week is actually like
We'd rather tell you this now than have you find out on night two.
Nights 1–3: most people notice mild jaw tightness in the morning. It is the same feeling as after a long dental appointment, and it fades. Start at the zero setting even though you'll be tempted to skip ahead.
Week 1: move up one notch every few nights until you find the setting that works. Going straight to a high setting is the single most common reason people give up on a device like this.
After that: most people stop noticing it's there. If the tightness hasn't settled within a week, come back a notch — more advancement is not better, it's just more.
Results vary from person to person, and no mouthpiece works for everyone. That's exactly why the 30-day guarantee exists.

What buyers say
"I use SnoreLab to track this stuff since I'm a bit of a data nerd. First week with RetroRamp, my snore score dropped to 21 and I was only snoring loud for 30 seconds the whole night."
Steven A.Verified
"Sore jaw for two mornings, then totally fine. Worth it just for getting my own room back."
Samantha S., Los AngelesVerified
"I've tried a few of these things. This one's an actual mouth guard. Other ones I tried were flimsy pieces of thin rubber."
Lisa G.Verified
"We've tried nose strips, a wedge pillow, even separate rooms for a while lol. This is the first thing that's actually worked."
Justin D.Verified
"My dentist even noticed I stopped grinding my teeth. The adjustable fit is perfect and it doesn't feel bulky at all during the night."
David K., Vancouver BCVerified
"60 seconds in hot water and it molded exactly like they said. Wasn't sure I'd get the timing right but it turned out fine on the first try."

Questions people actually ask
Will it fit my mouth?
It moulds to your bite rather than arriving in a fixed shape. The 60-second boil-and-bite process shapes it to your own teeth, and if the first attempt isn't right you can reheat it and start again.
Will it hurt?
Mild jaw tightness for the first two or three nights is normal and usually settles within a week. Starting at the zero setting and moving up slowly makes a real difference. If tightness persists, drop back a notch.
Can I use it with dental work?
It moulds around existing dental work in most cases. If you have crowns, bridges, implants or braces, or any jaw joint problem, check with your dentist first — that's genuinely worth a two-minute conversation.
How do I clean it?
Rinse in cold water after use and brush gently with a soft toothbrush. Avoid hot water, which can soften the moulding.
How long does one last?
Six to twelve months with normal nightly use. Replacement shells are available separately.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Return it within 30 days for a refund. No device works for everyone, and we'd rather you tried it properly than talked yourself out of it.
Do you ship to the UK and Australia?
Yes. Shipping is free and duties and taxes are included, so the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Try it for 30 nights
Fit it, work up through the settings, and give it a fair run. If it isn't for you, send it back within 30 days for a refund.
